Terms for Bakobo's production witnesses

These terms cover the witnesses listed in Bakobo's discovery directory. They are a placeholder, published so that each witness has something to point to, and they will change before they are final.

Registered customers

Bakobo intends to offer its paying customers a commitment about the availability of these witnesses. What that commitment covers, and what it costs, has not been decided. Until the terms of that commitment are published on this page, there is no such commitment, for anyone.

Everyone else

The witnesses accept events from controllers that have not registered. That use carries no guarantee of any kind: not of availability, not of how long history is retained, and not that the service will continue. Bakobo may limit or refuse unregistered use at any time.

What a receipt from these witnesses means

Bakobo operates every witness in this pool. A receipt from it is evidence that an event was witnessed and is being served. It is not evidence that the controller is accountable to anyone independent of Bakobo, and the discovery directory says the same thing in more detail.
